I like to think of myself as a creative entrepreneur. This is a fancy way of saying I spend my mornings making overly ambitious to-do lists and then promptly falling into the black hole of the internet (and possibly falling simultaneously back into bed).
Here are two gems which made this morning's round of procrastination entirely worthwhile. One made me laugh and the other made me skin-tingly-teary-eyed. They are entirely different, except in that they take the broken pieces of our plasticized, throw-away culture, shake them up, and spit them out whole.

While I'm still in bed cuddling my laptop at 1pm and bemoaning the fact that it will never stop raining in Cologne, it's nice to know there are few creative geniuses brightening the world out there. It gives me hope.
